Description
The Walk to Laguna 513 is a tourist attraction located in the Cordillera Blanca just below the Hualcan mountain (6,350 m), in the province of Carhuaz, it is a strategic point to get good views of the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca.
The route is suitable, only for people with experience in walking and with good physical condition to walk on vertical and zigzagging paths

Tour Plan
6:00 am. recommended, maximum time to leave, 7.00am
With a private vehicle we head towards Carhuaz, we advance to Hualcan and finally we arrive at Shonquilpampa, where we begin the walk.
We will take a path that zigzags up and parallel to the Chucchún river until we reach the Rajupaquinán lagoon, and we will continue climbing until we reach Lagoon 513, which is located right at the foot of the Hualcán mountain (6,350 m).
After a rest, eating and taking pictures, we will return along the same path to our transport that will return us to Huaraz.
