The Nevado Huarapasca is located in the southern part of the Cordillera Blanca, it is surrounded by little-explored mountains such as Tuco, Challhua, Caullaraju, Juchuraju, among others. It has 3 slopes of 60° – 65° which makes it ideal for gaining experience in ice climbing technique, it is also an excellent mountain to acclimatize and prepare before a more technically complex expedition. Its summit is very picturesque, with a great visual domain of the Cordillera Blanca.

Informative talk a day before in the team test.

Tour Plan
After the pick up we headed to the town of Catac and we deviated to the east side, to the control of the Huascarán National Park, we registered and continued to the starting point of our climb.
Here we will begin our ascent to Nevado Huarapasca, we load the mountain equipment in our backpack and after 1 hour of approach through the moraine we will arrive at the glacier, at this point we will equip ourselves and shelter if necessary, our guide will inspect everything the essentials for his promotion and finally he will rope us to continue with the journey.
We remain at the summit for a prudent time to rest, hydrate ourselves and take pictures.
Finally we make the descent by the same ascent route until we reach our vehicle to be transferred to the city of Huaraz.
