Frozen Lagoon Caraz
Description
This lagoon, also in formation, is the one with the longest access and many times it takes 2 days. It is located above the Parón ravine, for which it is necessary to take a vehicle and drive through the city of Caraz to Parón and from here it is necessary to walk a long path, first to cross the Paron Lagoon and then ascend a steep path through the ravine and reach the foothills of the Artesonraju mountain. Before reaching the so-called Frozen Lagoon, we will pass next to the Artesoncocha Lagoon and in this place a campsite can be set up; depending on how the pace of the walk is and how long it takes us.

Tour Plan
After the pick up at the hotel, we will be transferred by vehicle from Huaraz to Laguna Paron.
We get our backpacks and equipment ready, to start the walk along the left bank of the lagoon, we will walk at least 4 km until we reach the other side of the lagoon.
From this point we will keep to the left after crossing the river and after at least 2 hours we will arrive at Laguna Congelada Caraz.
Here we remain for a prudent time to rest, take photos, eat something and then we return to Paron.
Then we rest a bit and board the transport to return to Huaraz.
