Antacocha is located 8 km northwest of the district of Recuay, on the Cordillera Negra at an altitude of 3780 meters above sea level. In this place is the Antacocha lagoon that has a perfect setting for tourism events and adventure sports such as: rock climbing competitions, mountain biking, paddle boarding, trekking and more. It has a rock wall just 200 meters away with multiple ascent routes and to get there you pay 80 soles for a taxi that can take you from the city of Huaraz to the foot of the lagoon.

Tour Plan
We leave the city of Huaraz and head south until we reach Recuay, where we will stop for breakfast and buy some snacks if necessary.
Then we will continue our journey until we reach the Antacocha lagoon. Here while we prepare equipment, to do paddle boarding, we will have time to take a tour of the lagoon and in case you want to go up to the top of the lagoon (optional).
Once ready we will start with paddle boarding, of which we will have enough time to take pictures during the activity and enjoy it to the fullest.
After a small snack and preparing the equipment, we will head towards Huaraz, where the tour ends.
